Self-advocacy doesn’t mean doing everything alone. You can get help from NDIS-funded supports, peer networks, and advocacy groups.

Where to Find Support for Self-Advocacy

🔹 LGBTIQA+ and neurodivergent peer support groups

🔹 NDIS-funded support workers or mentors

🔹 Disability and LGBTIQA+ advocacy organizations

🔹 Trusted friends, family, or case managers

💡 If you struggle with self-advocacy, the NDIS can fund:

✔️ A Support Coordinator to help with NDIS meetings

✔️ Peer mentoring programs with other autistic and LGBTIQA+ people

✔️ Counselling or coaching to build confidence in self-advocacy
