All of You Matters – Not Just One Part
You’re not just one thing. You might be Blak, queer, trans, a brotherboy, sistergirl, and neurodivergent too. And that’s deadly. That’s your full self.
Don’t let anyone try to split you up or put you in a box.
Some workers or services might only want to talk about your “disability.”
They might say your culture or your gender “doesn’t matter right now.”
But that’s not okay. It all matters.
You shouldn’t have to leave parts of yourself at the door
You bring your whole self with you—your mob, your language, your stories, your queerness, your spirit. That’s not too much. That’s you.
And you deserve support that gets that.
If you’re in a meeting and someone’s not listening or not respecting who you are, you can speak up. Or bring someone who will speak up for you.
You can say:
“This doesn’t feel safe for me.”
“I don’t want to leave my culture or gender out of the conversation.”
“I’d feel better with someone who understands my identity.”
